When incorporating a business, an entrepreneur is bound to run into a lot of obstacles. Aside from some of the more obvious, such as securing enough capital to get a company off the ground, one of the greatest bumps in the road that small business owners can hit is themselves.
According to Brad Feld's interview with Entrepreneur magazine , small business owners often fail to follow through on their ventures.
"A lot of people are great at coming up with ideas and starting things, but they struggle to complete them," Feld said. "This could be procrastination, lack of focus, avoidance of conflict or simply 'a bunch of balls dropped on the floor.' Great entrepreneurs are execution machines. They just get things done."
A separate article for the same source explains that entrepreneurs should always look for the "aha! moment" and do something about it, thus turning a potential problem into an entrepreneurial opportunity.
Feld said some of the best advice for an entrepreneur is to make each phrase declarative and not fear failure.
