Additionally, keep up with blogging and start considering your website's content, marketing and how it will be maintained. Instead of trying to dive in entirely, start slowly with an easy blogging website such as Tumblr and a basic FlipCam.

Barone advises that small business owners stay transparent with consumers, letting them get to know staff members, projects the company is working on and being honest if the company hits a hurdle. This is a relatively simple for small businesses, but as they grow it becomes more and more difficult to do.
